I have an absoultly beautiful (dreamy) water color by L. Jambor, a gift from the artist to my grandfather. Am interested in learning a little bit of the artist. I also have a few Hungarian oils which I suspect may be important. There used to be a major Hungarian dealer in NYC who was recognized by President Reagan when the dealer opened a gallary in D.C., this being the dealer who sold my grandfather the paintings probably 50 years ago. Nagyon tetszik a honlap, sok magyar és külföldi reprodukciót megcsodáltam, csak azt fájlalom, hogy sem Borsos Miklós, sem Varga Imre alkotásait nem találtam meg, pedig nagyon szeretem a mûveiket! Meg hogy eddig még nem sikerült felfedeznem, hogy grafikák hol találhatók a gyûjteményben! Through many hours of tedious work I am still looking to see if anyone recognizes the artist "Balogh Bela". I have been told that he is of Hungarian decent, and beyond that I am at a loss. I do posess a painting from him. Like anyone else I am curious if there is a value or not. The painting was given to my late mother from her employer in the early 60's and has graced our home for many, many years. Hi, I've seen your site by chance while searching for paints. It's a really good site. But, there is a paint with name Roman Bridge at Mostar (1903 Oil on canvas, 92 x 185 cm Janus Pannonius Museum, PŽcs). I have to say that isn't Roman Bridge. This is world famous Mostar Bridge. And it is build in the middle of 16.th century by an Turkish architect Hayrettin. Who is a student of great Turkish architect Mimar Sinan (He build Blue Moschee, Selimiye, many bridges like Mostar Bridge etc.) And this symbol of Mostar has been destruct by a Croatian Obus bombshell in November 9'th 1993. It is really so sad to see this kind of destruction. Now I'm so glad that this great structure is rebuilt in the same shape, with same old time metods by Turkish government. I'm really sensitive with this kind of situaitons. Because I'm one of Balkan born Turkish peoples. By the way. I've have chance to see Budapest two years ago. You have really nice city. Amit a magyar képzõmûvészek mûvelnek egyszerûen felháborító. Én a maguk helyében inkább kukázni járnék, mint festeni, vagy szobrázkodni.Amit maguk mûvelnek az a személyiségi jogok teljes semmibevétele amit maguk, és a többi pénzéhes weboldal szerkeztõje mûvel. Ez engem annyira felháborít, hogy eszem-faszom megáll. Arra kényszerítenek, hogy regisztráljam magam, s ezzel semmibeveszik jogaimat, hiszen én, magyar állampolgár vagyok, szabadnak születtem, és eszembe sem jut kiadni személyes adataimat, azért, hogy ennyivel is többet legyek a neten. I have a <Sculpture Bust> sculpture by Art Sculptor Proffessor Petrilli. I had posted on here once before about this Bust of a Lady. I had spelled out his last name wrong. I own a <Carrora Marble Sculpture Bust of a Lady> and it has lovely engravings of her, she has a Bonnet on like one a Quaker would have worn and it has two large flowers that is sculpture at each side of her face, as if the flowers are tuck in at the front of her Bonnet on each side of her face. And she has a Cross Neckless around her neck, and she also has some kind of head Jewerly that goes around the top of her head, and it shows some kind of sign in the middle of her forehead. This Marble Bust has the Artist name on the back, which reads Prot Petrilli. So is there anyone who knows about this Art.
