The panel, which was on the pedestal of the altar of St Anne at Igló, represents Christ between Virgin Mary of Sorrows, St John the Evangelist, St Wolfgang the Bishop and St Boniface IV the Pope. It was painted by an artist whose major works include the panels of the St Nicholas altar of Szepesszombat, according to which he was tentatively named.
