Altarpiece "Vir dolorum"

The central part of the altarpiece contains the figure of Christ (height 156 cm) with Mary on his right (142 cm) and St John the Evangelist on his left (139 cm). On top of the altar the statue (height 75 cm) of St Andrew can be found. The predella is decorated by the coat-of-arms of Matthias, King of Hungary and of Beatrix, Matthias' wife. The four painted panels on the open wings as well as four other on the closed wings depict saints and scenes of the life of Christ, respectively.
