Description of the illumination: In 1303 priests of the town Buda anathematize the new Pope, who imposed a judicial interdiction upon the citizens of Buda.
This illumination is one of the 147 of the Illuminated Chronicle (Chronicon Hungariae Pictum or Chronica de Gestis Hungarorum) commissioned by Hungarian King Lajos I (1342-1382).
