UNKNOWN RENAISSANCE MASTER, sculptor
(16th century)

Tabernacle

1506-10
Red marble
Cathedral, Pécs

The relief was made by the same Italian sculptors who worked in Esztergom at the Bakócz Chapel. The strongly restored artwork, presently at a secondary location inside the Cathedral, is the most valuable Renaissance monument in Pécs.
