At the beginning of the 15th century a second workshop was also active in Kassa beside that working on the Saint Elisabeth Church. They constructed the Saint Nicholas Church for the Franciscans which, according to the tradition, was consacrated in 1405. However, the sculptural decoration is dated later and it shows the influence of the sculptors working on the Saint Elisabeth Church.
The relief depicting the Crucifixion is on the west facade of the Saint Nicholas Church.
