Sculptures made in Florence between 1925-1934 (Page 1)
by Márk Vedres

Between 1925 and 1934 Márk Vedres stayed and worked in Florence. The sculptures exhibited on these pages were discovered during the great flood in 1966 in Florence, in the depot of a transport company. With the help of Giorgio Vedres, the artist's son living in Florence, the sculptures were secured and were placed at the disposal of the Hungarian National Gallery.

The middle period of the art of Vedres was connected to Florence, however, the ideas and the style are related to Paris.
