Genre and landscape painter. He created mainly pastel paintings. He lived in France for a long time. He was awarded the title Mention Honorable in Paris in 1905. He won the grand prize of the Society of Fine Arts, Budapest in 1903, and the State Pastel Prize in 1920. His collective exhibitions were held in the Budapest Art Gallery in 1907, 1923 and 1928. For years he ran a pastel workshop in Budapest.
