This is a boldly contoured drawing in which Eve is depicted as the temptress of Art Nouveau iconography. The winding, creeper-like movement of the female body follows the twisting body of the snake as it climbs the tree, almost merging with the vegetation, and becoming a decorative element of the composition in the process.
