MARKÓ, Ferenc
(1832, Eisenstadt - 1874, Budapest)



Landscape Painter. He was the son, student and imitator of Károly Markó (1791-1860). He lived in Pest from 1853. Several of his landscapes are with private collectors and in the Hungarian National Gallery (Hungarian Landscape, Idyllic Landscape, Gypsy Hovel). His works are often mistaken for those of his father.
