MARKÓ, András
(1824, Vienna - 1895, Viareggio)

Landscape Painter. He was a student and a poorly talented follower of his father, Károly Markó (1791-1860). He worked mainly in Vienna. Several of his works are sold nowadays as his father's painting. His pictures entitled 'Goat-Herd'; 'Jesus Appoints Peter to Be the Head of the Church'; 'Girls Carrying Water' can be found in the Hungarian National Gallery.
