The exhaustive gathering of folk material influenced the activities of the Gödöllő weaving workshop, which produced two types of carpet. One employed geometrical forms drawn from folk-art, the other was the so-called "story rug". The Puppet Theatre, which commemorates a performance of the popular folk tale "László Vitéz", is an interesting example of the latter type.
