FERENCZY, Valér
(1885, Körmöcbánya - 1954, Budapest)



Painter, graphic artist, son of Károly Ferenczy and brother of Noémi and Béni. He started his career in his father's studio, later he studied in Munich, Paris, Italy and Berlin. His development soon suffered a stop, thus works of his later period were less significant. His major works: "Hanging out Clothes", "Mother", and "Mother and Noémi". He published his father's autobiography.
