From the mid 1910s onwards, Csók spent the summers together with his family in Balatonaliga for 25 years, where some of his pictures with fresh colours were painted, e.g. "Godfather at Breakfast", the most attractive picture filled with delight in life. The plentiful breakfast table might as well be a still-life. The jovial-looking man by the table is a perfect character-portray. The still-life and the portrait are surrounded by fresh leaves. The hills of Aliga and the silvery shimmer of the lake flash up behind the green branches of the Balaton landscape. Csók united genre (landscape, portrait and still-life) in his picture which typical of his art. He relied on the Nagybánya traditions, the connection between nature and man, the portrayal in scattered light and lessons of impressionism. With broad brush strokes, he arrested the beauty and the characteristics of the view.
