BERÉNY, Róbert
(1887, Budapest - 1953, Budapest)

Still-life

1909-10
Oil on canvas, 50 x 63 cm
Hungarian National Gallery, Budapest

This is an example of the change in Berény's style which can be observed at the end of the first decade of the 20th century. From the decorative style showing the influence of Matisse he turned to the static approach of Cézanne.
