Oil on canvas, lace, 67 x 100 cm
Ferenczy Museum, Szentendre
From the late sixties Anna instead of painting often fixes elements onto the surface. She uses the most varied, found objects, sticking into her paintings headscarves made of real lace, photographs, devotional pictures, pearls, small wood-carved figures, jewels, and relics.
The Madonna with Lace is a painting based on a statue, with real lace running around the painted niche.
