In the central chest of the altarpiece stand the statues of St John the Baptist (height 105 cm) and St John the Evangelist (height 103 cm). On the wings the statues of two other saints (89 cm each) can be seen. The relief on the predella (48 x 80,5 cm) represents the Deposition. On the top part of the altarpiece statues of saints (60 cm each) and a relief (93 x 53 cm) of Mary Magdalen can be found. Eight painted panels on the closed altarwings depict scenes of the life of St John the Baptist and St John the Evangelist. The paintings were executed by Teophil Stanczel from Bártfa, a painter working in the workshop of Master Paul of Lőcse.
