Madonna from Visegrád

c. 1480
Red marble, 73 x 71 x 16 cm
King Matthias Museum, Visegrád

The relief was probably executed by Tommaso Fiamberti Florentine sculptor, one of the pupils of Desiderio Settignano. It is assumed that the relief decorated the top of the portal of the chapel in King Matthias's summer palace at Visegrád.
