The parish church of Brassó is called "Black Church" since the great fire in 1689. With its length of 89 m, it is the largest medieval church in Transsylvania. The sculptural decoration of the choir is similar to that of the choir at Szászsebes, the iconographic program is the same.

The statue shown can be found on the buttress of the choir.
