SENYEI, Károly
(1854, Pest - 1919, Budapest)
Sculptor. After studying in Budapest, Vienna and Munich, Senyei settled down in Budapest in 1886. His genre and ornamental statues were particularly well-known. His best works include "Triga" (on the facade of the building of the Hungarian Ethnographic Museum), "Fishing Children" (Rákóczi tér, Budapest) and the statues of "Stephen I" and "Endre II" of the Millennium Memorial.
