JENDRASSIK, Jenő
(1860, Pest - 1919, Kökényesd)



Painter. Following his legal studies he studied art as a pupil of in Munich's Painter Academy and this is where he started to paint his conversational pieces of sentimental tone and themes. After his return to Hungary he exhibited his works in the Budapest Art Gallery. He later portrayed children of distinguished families. Some of his paintings are now kept in the Hungarian National Gallery.
