Vampires

1907
Oil on canvas, 174 x 190 cm
Private collection

István Csók encountered Art Nouveau in Paris between 1903 and 1910. It was at this time that he painted Vampires, so suggestive of how Art Nouveau saw the ambiguous relationship between sexes.
