The reverse of the Liber medal, "For a lifetime charity" is lyrical in expression. Berán's characteristically bold gestures are again evident, and completed by an ingenious, natural arrangement of the figures. The beautiful slim figure of St Elizabeth divides the medal, and her outspread cloak, a symbol of loving protection, links her to the two beggars.
