BARZÓ, Endre
(1898, Nyíregyháza - 1953, Nyíregyháza)

He graduated as an art teacher in Budapest in 1921 and worked as an assistant lecturer close to Ágost Benkhard until 1926. He was a member of the art society called KÉVE. His works were exhibited in the National Salon in 1931. His paintings - the best ones of which are his landscapes - are characterised by a cultured taste and often courageous creative invention. His little known oeuvre stills needs to be explored.
